How we expanded Fired Up’s marketing mix for their next phase of growth

What does Fired Up do?

Fired Up is a Berlin-based coaching company that supports people in moments of career transition. Whether you’re unemployed, burnt out, considering self-employment, or simply feeling stuck, Fired Up helps you build confidence, clarity, and momentum to move forward.

The company focuses on AVGS and Bildungsgutschein-funded coaching, meaning their services are free for clients who qualify through the German employment system. Through 1:1 coaching, small group sessions, and creative content, they guide people toward meaningful, self-directed next steps—whether that’s starting a freelance career, launching a business, or finding the right role.

Their mission? To provide real, human support for real, human change.

How did we help?

This was a long-running and fun project where Humble&Brag got to unpack its toolkit and help scale Fired Up’s marketing efforts beyond “just” YouTube.

We were originally brought in to launch their first round of professionally produced creatives for Paid Social to advertise their two core offerings; founder coaching and job coaching. We ran a messaging workshop, developed a modular concept that enabled rapid creative iteration, scripted 16 individual ads, shot and edited them, and delivered the creatives along with accompanying ad copy and guidance for distribution.

Over the course of the workshop and shoot, it was obvious to us that Fired Up had a ton of opportunity for growth—and so we offered to help them launch and manage tests across a bunch of channels, from YouTube long-form and short-form to podcasts, Google and YouTube Ads, organic search, and multi-language advertising.

Off the back of these tests, we demonstrated that both Google and YouTube Ads could both level up brand awareness and drive customer growth at scale, and take their rightful place among the startup’s marketing mix. The YouTube long-forms produced with founders Clara and Malte have clocked up thousands of views in a niche area, and repurposed Shorts ended up as some of their highest performing Instagram Reels and LinkedIn video posts—a perfect illustration of how YouTube production can be the fuel for any startup’s content machine.
